When we were in secondary school most of us like or hate one subject than the other.

When I was in SS1, one of the subject I did as a science student was Economics, my grades were good because for me, it was just another subject I needed to pass regardless of how I feel about the teacher who teached me.

Some corpers were posted to our school for Nysc, one of them, a female became our Economics teacher as our main teacher had to stop teaching us for a while. The day the female corper, our new Economics teacher was introduced to my class, you need to see most of us was gushing over her because she is fair, beautiful, speaks softly, friendly and the way she teaches Economics, there is no know way you will not love and know the subject even though you don’t know anything. My grades improve from 70/70+ to 90+ so as well as others in my class that our former teacher was surprised at the improvement in our grades.

When the female corper left, my grades and that of some others dropped again because our teacher is back again.

Just like the female corper Economics teacher of mine, most of us are unique and special in the way we do things or carry out task or teach, but what do we do? we want to be like someone else.

There is nothing bad in admiring good qualities you see in another and replicate it but your style or way of doing things might be far far better.

For those who teach or train people, have you asked yourself, why do people follow me or my teachings?

The answer is not far fetch, it is because of the way you do your things or teach. People would do anything to learn from you despite the fact there are so many people doing the same thing as you.

Your style of doing things or teaching is what people are paying for or why they are following you.

These people are not tired of you because you are unique and special.

Your uniqueness is what makes you special and this is the game changer for you in your business, work or anything you find yourself doing.

Do take full advantage of it to impact lives.

The next time anyone ask you what’s special about you, your product(s) and service(s), you know what to say…

I am unique, special, humble, beautiful, soft spoken, eloquent, teach per excellent, creative, got great vibes, saying word of prayer, smart, consistent, punctual, good dress sense, result oriented, goal getter,……..

Sending messages to customers on the first day of the month and some times for various reasons within the month could take a lot of time.

As the one who sends these messages, it could take me more than 1 hour sending messages to our customers due to the large numbers of customer’s contact we have. This became some how stressful for me because of the time it consumes but despite that, I need to do the needful, communication is key in business as you constantly need to be in the eye of your customers, you know that’s one of the secret to making sales.

This made me to start looking for solution on how to ease this task of sending messages to customers for various purposes which one of them is to close sales.

In my university days, I joined an organisation called AIESEC.

AIESEC is a leadership and exchange(intenship/work abroad) organisation in over 107 countries.

In AIESEC, the way we take on task or work, you will think members are paid but the truth is we were not paid but you see members doing their tasks/work with enthusiasm, commitment and diligence.

Though the tasks were demanding which includes you spend your money and time but one thing was sure you are gaining experience in leadership and you are well exposed to the real world out there even as a student.

When I was to apply for an internship abroad then in AIESEC, I was asked to summit my CV. This looked funny to me because I was a student and not working, How should I write the CV? But thanks to one of my leaders then who enlightened me on how to write my CV and made me realised how my various experiences could be added to my CV. This made me to know how to write a CV, another experienced gained. The goodnews is that I went to India for an internship.

Some years ago, I went to a company for training, guess who was the facilitator of the training? One of the leaders I know in AIESEC. As a proud AIESECER, my heart leap for Joy that joining AIESEC is not a waste of time even though we were not paid. I walked up to our facilitator and exchange pleasantries in the Aiesec way with him and the issues I needed to be solved was sorted out immediately due to his help as one of the big boss in the company.

Maybe the opportunities around you are not the type that may give you money or pays you little, you can look at the bigger picture ahead by learning from that opportunity or job by gaining experience which in turn will help you gain mastery.

If you know how to do something or you have a skill that is just lying fallow or you don’t have enough to practice with it, you can approach people by helping them with your skill or that thing you know how to do for Free.

The more you pratice with what you know or your skills, the more you gain mastery.

Gaining mastery comes with confidence, connections and also making money.

Yesterday, one of our customers wanted to buy yoghurt, I told him we have increased our prices recently. He exclaimed haa, that’s expensive and why the add- on on price?My response was, the prices of raw materials are expensive that’s was why we have to increase our price.He said, one of the materials we use which is milk can be easily gotten at a cheaper price. I smiled and told him, we do not use just any how milk because we want to sell and make huge gain, our customers health is our priority.He further said, yoghurt is yoghurt, afterall all yoghurt sold are the same, that he is not buying again.I quickly corrected the notion that yoghurt is yoghurt, afterall all yoghurt are the same by simply letting him know that we have different types of yoghurt and the milk used in producing yoghurt makes a huge difference in the production though there are other factors too. Recently, someone who I had no prior relationship with requested we connect and we spoke on phone. Most of the discussion I had with this person was centred around business and personal development.

After our conservation, this person said, I am glad I connected with you, it was as if I have known you before, I learnt a lot and some other good compliments from this person.

One thing she said that struck me was, you are original and exceptional, everything you have spoken about in the course of our conversation was your own experience, the challenges you have pass through and how you were able to profer solution to them. She exclaimed, your are loaded and you are a blessed woman.

See, If you are a business/career person, and at every/some point of your life, business, career etc you have pass through challenges or difficult times and you were able to navigate through with God’s help and get solution or you are yet to get solution, I congratulate you because those challenges and solution you got are your experience which is worth more than diamond.

Your experience is personally exclusive to you and it is your wealth.

There is a popular phrase most of us use “let me share out of my wealth of experience.”

This phrase is what it is.

Your experience sets you apart from the crowd/others.

What have you been doing with your wealth of experience?

Are you just keeping it to yourself for keeping sake?

Do you know people need to hear your experience?

It is the saving grace and solution for others.

God did not allow you pass through those challenges for passing sake. He made you pass through it and helped you out of it because he knows so many need to be blessed from your wealth of experience.

It took a long time for me to realise this, I have gone through some challenges in life and business that I knew it could only be God that helped me out of it. But thank God, I have realised it, that’s why I want you to know that your experience is a solution provider and a wealth creator.

Can you now see that if you share your experience with others, it makes you exceptional and it is a wealth you will leave for many generations to come.

Experience is core, it sets you apart whether you are a business/career person.

When growing up as child, my parents will always give to known and unknown person even if it’s their last kobo. In a way, we the children followed the foot steps of our parents.

As a result of my parents’ giving, we their children has gotten help from people we don’t even know apart from those we know.

I remembered when I gained admission into the University of Benin, I was on the look out for accomodation off campus and I spoke to some students in my department about it, should incase they have information concerning any they should let me know.

One of the students I spoke to then, call me later if I don’t mind staying with her that she has been observing me since I spoke to her about accomodation, I was glad and told her yes. The most amazing thing was she did not collect any money from me even when I insisted. As a result of this kind gesture, when she left, the person I accommodated too, I did not collect money too.

She became a mother, a sister, a friend, a guardian and a counsellor to me. Her family became my family, it was enjoyment galore and her mum refers to me as the last born of their family to everyone.

She was a total strange, I didn’t know her from anywhere until I met her in school, I believe God made our path to cross. Despite the favour I got from her and family that did not stop me from helping her where needed not necessary money but in terms of tasks and other things. Till date, we still keep in touch.

I know most of us have this mindset that their friend, family or others have enough why should they help?

This is totally wrong.

If you look well or take note, you will discover that there is always something you can help with or give to that person you think already have enough and even overflowing because nobody has it all in life no matter their status

It could be your time, skill, helping out with tasks, gifts that will not break a bank though, listening hear, an uplifting message, checking up etc.

You want to receive anything big, please learn to give even the smallest thing and also add humility.

This is what opens doors you have never thought in your life that could open.

Try this out and see if that thing you have been asking that person who refuses to oblige you, if you will not get it.

I know after reading this post, some people will still say, so you mean out of the little I am managing, I should still take out of it and give to someone I know has enough. The ball is in your court if you want to go far in life. Stop being at the receiving end. Stop it!

Life is all about principles.

Remember, givers never lack. Never!

Wow wow wow, year 2021is almost rounding up, I have not smashed most of the goals I set for myself when i started the year. I have prayed and fasted still nothing is happening. Is it that God does not answer prayer🤔?

God answers prayer and He is still in the business of answering prayers.

Have you taken any action/step(s) towards achieving your goals?

Prayers and fasting is good but when not backed with work (actions/step(s)), you might not get your desired results.

The bible says faith without works is dead.

You can still achieve some/all of those goals you set for yourself if you can go all out of your comfort zone to put in the work.

Yes you heard me, put in the work.

That business you said you want to start, why have you not started it?

That skill you said you want to acquire, why have you not started it.

The journey of self development you promised yourself to start, why have you not started it?

The professional certification course you said you want to start, why have you not started it?

I can go on and on, but let me stop here.

I know you will say she does not understand what I am passing through or my challenges, afterall she does not have challenges that’s why she is saying all these.

Well, I have my own challenges and struggles as you do but I have not allowed them to stop me from achieving most of my goals because I have built my mindset to find ways to move forward despite the challenges I am faced with. Most of my success story today came from my challenges/struggles.

So you also need to build a mindset of turning your challenges/struggles to solutions.

Today’s world is going digital, that’s our reality while you are still forming analogue😂😂🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️ and keep complaining, while most people are going digital and cashing out or developing themselves.

Learning anything now has been made easy, where you can sit in the comfort of your home and learn from any part of the world, so you see distance is not a barrier, your MINDSET is the barrier because you refuse to evolve with time.

That’s why learning is a continuous thing because you need to keep updating yourself.

Knowledge is power! don’t forget this. What you don’t know will keep limiting you.

Why are you not investing in learning new skills? Skills are in high demand now, which one have you learnt/acquired. Some of us in the career/business path knows this because this gives us edge over the other.

You can acquire a skill for free/paid, depends on your choice.

From experience, the paid version is better because the free version comes with some limitations like not getting a 100% knowledge of the skill, how to sell the skill, how to cut cost etc. Remember, this is my experience yours might be different.

💁🏼‍♀️One of the reason why most people have not started doing business today or add new products/services to the already existing one is because of the fear of the kind of business to venture into and also with the mindset that everybody is doing it.

👉Will I make sales?

👉Will I make profit?

👉Are people going to buy from me?

👉Will I be able to withstand competion? pops up in their minds because of the fear of everybody is doing it.
